Chris Michel is senior vice president of human resources, administration and security for Noble Energy, a global independent exploration and production company. Her responsibilities include global talent management, leadership and organizational development, strategy and culture development, and compensation and benefits. She also leads administration, corporate real estate, facilities and global security.
Prior to joining Noble Energy in 2019, Chris served as senior vice president of global human resources and communications for Exterran Corporation, where she was a member of the executive leadership team that launched the company. Prior to this role, Chris served as senior vice president of global human resources and communications for Exterran Holdings and Exterran Limited Partners. Chris joined Exterran from Ford Motor Company, where she served as executive director of human resources for The Americas, executive director of global compensation and benefits and other global HR roles. Through the course of her career, Chris has been responsible for all aspects of human resources, including performance management, compensation and benefits, health and safety, labor and employee relations, employee and organizational development, culture change, corporate communications, strategic planning and M&A.
Chris earned a bachelor’s in business administration in accounting and an MBA from the University of Iowa. She is a member of The Sierra Institute and the Texas A&M Master Beekeeper Program.
